Vodice
Vodice is situated in the Šibensko-Kninski district, on the main road between Zadar –Šibenik-Split, approximately 13 km west of Šibenik.
The city walls of old Vodice from the 16 th century are long gone both in reality and fantasy. There are not many such open places and vivid tourist centres on the Adriatic. Fifty years ago the people of Vodice were hard working people, focused on their land and farming rather than fishermen and sailors turned to the sea. Today they are completely turned to the sea; they live from and for the tourism. They guard their traditions and their summer guests enjoy that happy combination of past and present.
Long pebble and sandy beaches on the western and eastern part of town, a rich tourist-hospitality and trades offer, a developed cultural-entertaining life and many excursion, recreation and sports programmes create the quality and recogniseable tourist offer in Vodice. Vodice are one of the ten greatest tourist centres on the Croatian Adriatic, that has over 500.000 overnight stays in its hotels: Punta, Olympia, Imperial, Ville Gloriette, Kristina i Vodice, and in private bed and breakfast inns, apartments, rooms, resorts, camps and a state of the art equipped marina ACI, situated in the city centre.

Island Murter - the city of Murter
The island Murter belongs to the Northdalmatian island group, the most dense island cluster of the Adriatic and the Mediterranean, containing almost 40 % of all croatian islands. Thanks to the century-long care of the people of Murter for their proprties, the island has become the centre of a „galaxy“ of some 189 islands, isles and rocks.
It is located on the northwestern part of the Šibenik achipelago and the Šibensko-Kninski district. The distance between the island and dry land is only 6 metres, so the distance was bridged with a movable bridge, which makes the island more acessible and only adds to its charm.
There are four towns on the island; Murter and Jezera-the older ones and Tisno and Betina-the younger ones. A larger part of the island is covered with ancient olive and fig trees, which are also the main traditional products the local population grows.
From the moment they settled till today, the people of Murter have crossed a path from farmers, cattle-breeders, fisherman, wine-growers to caterers, skippers, tourist workers... The poor land, once a source of hard life and misery, now became an attraction, deserted sand coves become the most attractive beaches and Kornati are discovered as one of the most beautiful ecologically preserved sceneries. The island is famous for its beautiful sand and pebble beaches. And next to the well known ones- Slanice, Kosirine, Čigrađe, Podvršaka, Lovišća etc, there are also many small coves, hidden from curious eyes and away from the noise of the bigger beaches.
